2nd month of the year!

Finally, i've been able to upload my pictures from my handphone! it took ages! ahh, the wonderful invention of bluetooth.

Anways, i've been cooking or at least trying to in order to sustain myself and prevent me from dying from hunger.

Here are the pics of my specialty!fried rice!

Freshly cooked from the pan!

Well, cooking has been ok, so far. Still more to learn i guess. Here are some frequent views ive been seeing through the sem. Looks a little blurred cause my phone's megapixel is only 2.

Anyways, there's been a lot of things on my mind these few days. Things that trouble me. Got to learn to trust in HIM. For he knows best and he has a plan for each and everyone of us!
Till then. Cya!

Classes Starting

Classes have started.Oh my gosh, its so fast.

It's around the 2nd week of classes already.I'm taking 5 subjects this semester. They are English Composition(noob subject), MSIS( another noob computer class required for business majors), ECON 3313, FIN 3113 and american government.

Lectures here are generally short. People here arrive 5-10 minutes before class and they leave 5-10 minutes before it ends. I have on average around 4 to 5 hours of class a day. The tiring part about classes is not sitting on the chair and listening to the lecturer, it's more of the walking to classes that is really tiring.

My classes are like at least 1 km away, and everyday i have to walk to classes to and fro. Its sort of tiring, but i guess it has its benefits to, like being healthy.

Americans here talk really weird. Maybe it's just that i'm not used to it.

Their concept of humour is sometimes hard to grasp and I get lost sometimes.

I've met more mainland china+malaysians den americans. I think my mandarin is improving. How ironic that by coming to the US my mandarin is improving. Something I really didn't expect.

Expenses are well, expensive to say the least. Debt is not good. I'm owing money.haha. It's only been like 3 weeks I think.

Currently contemplating whether to go back for summer or stay on. Hmm, decisions decisions. I hope I make the right one though. Starting to miss some of you guys back in Malaysia. Oh no emo again. Here goes...

OSU

Finally reached OSU!

I had 3 transits, from Msia to Sin, then Sin to Narita, then Narita to Las Angeles Airport and then to Oklahoma City Will Rogers Airport.

The flight was a little uncomfortable as there was not much leg space and the chair had not much cushion.

When i ,made it there to Will Rogers Airport, I first thought to myself, " wow what a small nice airport"

Went to Xiangs house and slept in his room. Vomited the next morning. Twice. Was a terrible experience. I think probably due to the headache that might be caused by the air pressure during landing of the flight.

Anways these 2 days have been nice. I experience snow , or maybe dried snow turned into ice on the floor for the first time. Stuff here is generally cheaper i guess, if you dont convert it to RM. But goreceries are cheap. Its super cold here. I wore a long john, sweater, T-shirt and jacket and i was still shivering when the wind blew. It's freezing, But its kinda nice cause i dont need to bathe or change clothes that often. Awesome!

Stillwater is a relatively small town with lots of churches, mainly baptist churches i think. Besides that the caucasians here or ang mos or kuai los or wtv u wanna call it can be really ignorant when it comes to asians.

Anyways, don't wanna judge too much as there is no point in judging. Might as well change yourself to avoid conflict. Right?

Goodbye Malaysia

It's finally here, my time to bid farewell to everyone and to study in the USA!These last few weeks have been busy buying stuff to bring over and checking about my flight plans.

I haven't really thought about leaving for the USA until just 1 or 2 days before. Well i'm seriously gonna miss a lot of people back here.

To PPBC youth, you guys are awesome! Thanks for the farewell dinner and desa park outing. It was truly a memorable one. Thanks for the bible and also the gifts!!!

To the guys brian, kev, iggy and also his sis, thanks for coming around midnight to my house just to bid farewell. Really appreciate the effort, although it was a bit weird haha. I am seriously gonna miss icf and all the outings we had!

Anways I just thank God that he has provided me with such good friends! Although the thought of having to stay in a foreign land for the 1st time ever in my life somewhat makes me nervous, I know that He is always there for me and will never leave me. Amen
